At Oh Be Joyful Church we are committed to training, encouraging, developing deep relationships with, and releasing leaders.
Oh Be Joyful is planted in a unique environment for people to explore their call to ministry. Interns experience a special connection with God through His creation and the intentional community relationships that embody Crested Butte and our church family.
Strengths-Based Internship Opportunities
Our internship program focuses on helping young adult leaders discover and develop their God-given skills, experience challenges, and create life stories over the course of 24 months that will shape a future of ministry. We prioritize creatively addressing the strengths, weaknesses, and calling of each individual to maximize his or her personal development. Our first commitment in hiring intern staff is to provide Youth leadership to our middle and high school students. When those roles are filled, interns may explore a variety of roles that speak to personal vocation such as Community Outreach, Young Adults, Children, and Community Partnerships.

What is Oh Be Joyful Church?
Oh Be Joyful Church is a 30-year-old evangelical church committed to the mission of reconciliation. We are a body of believers reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, reconciled to one another, and carrying the message of reconciliation to our community and out to the world. We are a very relational, laid back, and authentic community. You can read about our core values of Abiding in Jesus, Going Together, Passing the Baton, and Being Heat & Light on our website. We are committed to bringing up the next generations and believe the Church and the believers that compose it are absolutely relevant in the modern world.
