OBJC Counseling MISSION OF RECONCILIATION TAKES MANY FORMS. PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING RESOURCES IS A KEY COMPONENT ENGAGING IN RECONCILING PEOPLE TO ONE ANOTHER, TO THEMSELVES, AND TO GOD.

OBJC offers no-cost counseling services for behavioral health needs such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting concerns, stress-related issues, and suicidal ideation. Currently, counseling for substance abuse issues is also available.

This model is designed under the Solution-Focused Brief Counseling approach with approximately 6-8 sessions provided unless a higher level of care is necessary beforehand. If further services are needed after the initial sessions are completed, we provide assistance finding a referral to an appropriate outside provider.

Although the sessions are available at no cost, donations to provide support to individuals for co-pays, etc. are welcome. You can give to provide support here.

*An exception to the no-cost aspect of this program is Equine Gestalt Coaching. If a horse is included in the coaching, there will be a fee to be determined following a discussion with the client.

My name is Molly Holsteen. I am wife to Andy and mom to three great kids. We have called Crested Butte home for nine years and we love this place and the people. I have always had a heart for helping women in crisis. As a Client Services Director at Lighthouse Pregnancy Center, I was able to meet with women in crisis and provide guidance and hope. I have also gone through training in Stephens Ministry, a faith-based program, undergone suicide-awareness training and been involved in peer counseling off and on since 2010. I look forward to engaging in peer counseling through Oh Be Joyful Church!

Carrie O’Neal

EGCMethod Certified Practitioner

I have been blessed by OBJC since 1990. John and I have 4 children. We were Missionaries in Spain for 13 Years. The last decade God has been my strength and counselor through some heart crushing challenges. These led me to study Equine Gestalt Coaching. I have found horses to be a beautiful vessel for God’s healing.  Gestalt is an experiential method of processing unfinished business. I coach people, it’s a therapeutic experience involving the insight of horses.
