Where are you located?
We are at 625 Maroon at the Corner of 7th Street and Maroon Avenue in the town of Crested Butte. From the heart of the commercial district on Elk Avenue, head south through the 4-way stop to 7th Street, turn left, and go a block. From Mt. Crested Butte, take a left on Maroon Avenue and we’re one block down. From Hwy 135 coming in from Gunnison, travel through the 4-Way stop and take a right on Maroon Avenue. Or, if all else fails, ask someone riding a townie, chances are…they’ll know where to direct you.
When are your services?
For most of the year we have one service at 9 a.m. During certain weeks in the summer, we have an 8:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. service. Check our services page to find out when our service times are.
Where can I park?
We have limited parking in front of our building. We also have a parking lot East of our building at the corner of 7th and Gothic Avenue. There is also public parking located behind the Chamber of Commerce at the 4-Way stop. If you’re in town, feel free to walk on over or ride your bike to avoid any hassle with parking. If you’re up at the mountain, the Mountain Express bus loop will drop you off at the Four-Way stop, just one block away from us.
I have kids, do you guys have Sunday School?
Joyful Kids is our children’s church. For toddlers aged 1-5 we have childcare during the entire service. Show up a few minutes before the service and head downstair to check your little one in and we’ll make sure they have a great time. For kids in grades 1-5, Joyful Kids takes place downstairs during the service. Please Register your child prior to the service by visiting our Joyful Kids page.
What about youth group?
Rise is our youth ministry here at OBJC. Middle Schoolers meet every Sunday at the church at 5:30 p.m. and High Schoolers meet every Sunday at 7 p.m. For Sunday mornings, we encourage all youth to join us in the sanctuary for the regular service.
