Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth.

-Isaiah 12:5 (ESV)

What is worship? How do we do it? When do we know we’re practicing it? The fact is, we’re all worshippers and we’re always worshipping something or somebody. We choose to make sacrifices to place prominence in relationships, finances, accomplishments, comfort, or any number of other things. But we are called throughout scripture to sacrifice ourselves and our desires to make much of our good and deserving God. How different would our lives, our families, our churches, and our world look if we placed utmost prominence in the triune God of the universe at all times, sacrificing all for His sake? It’s a tall order, but it could just be the secret to a fully realized existence.
