OBJC Day of Prayer and Fasting Thursday, May 23

This Sunday, May 26, we will gather for the first time to worship together in our new building. God is so good! As we approach the big day, we’re struck by the generosity of God’s people which has been beyond encouraging and has made this project possible. 

In March we set a goal of raising $300,000 that would enable us to complete the remodel and expansion of our home at 625 Maroon Avenue with no debt. So far, $160,000 has been given. Praise God! What an amazing testament to his goodness. 

With $160,000 already given, that means we are only $140,000 away from wrapping up the Opening Our Doors Wider Together project! Please prayerfully consider giving above and beyond to complete the building debt-free and sustain our day-to-day operations. With that in mind, we have decided to set aside this Thursday, May 23 as a day of fasting and prayer for Oh Be Joyful.

So...why are we fasting?

· FIRST AND FOREMOST, TO HONOR AND PRAISE GOD FOR HIS FAITHFULNESS TO OBJC. 

· SECOND, TO CORPORATELY SEEK HIS FAVOR IN PROVIDING THE FINAL FINANCIAL RESOURCES FOR THE BUILDING.

· THIRD, TO SEEK HIS FAVOR IN USING THIS NEW BUILDING AS BOTH HOME BASE AND LAUNCHPAD FOR THE GOSPEL IN CRESTED BUTTE AND BEYOND. 

Completing a project of this size debt-free is something so significant that it can only be attributed to Him and we invite you all to join us in remembering the One who makes it all possible!
