Feel overwhelmed? Maxed out? You're not alone. And unfortunately, that leaves little space for loving one another. In this 4 week spring series, we will be exploring the discipline and importance of slowing down and finding God in the midst of the stillness. And then, in the midst of that stillness, rediscovering the ability to love people as we are called by Christ.

S.L.o.w. #2 - Slow Down

This week we looked at the problem of living a hurried life and how it is incompatible with your own spiritual life. How can we begin to guard against living a life defined by one activity after another and slow down our lives? In this way we can live an interruptible life like Jesus did and in the process learn to love others well.

MESSAGE #3 - Lonely Places

Society tells us to live our lives “out there” in the public, for all to see. Yet, Jesus OFTEN went to lonely place to pray. If we are not going to our own secret place, our lonely place, then where are receiving nourishment in our lives? This week we look at how to create those lonely places in our lives in order to hear from God and receive His love, so that we can give that love to others.
